Irish artists can now find it easier to get their music noticed thanks to the arrival of a new digital delivery service.
Yangaroo Music has launched in Ireland, and all radio and TV stations, blogs and other media outlets can avail of the service.
It streamlines the way outlets access new music by having one online location for all the hits they are sent.
This means radio stations will receive music in a simplified manner, including songs from up and coming Irish musicians.
Sinead Troy is the CEO of the Irish Association of Songwriters, Composers and Authors - she told Beat News this is a major step forward for the industry.
"Our Irish artists will be highlighted with an Irish flag over all the international artists so it'll help our own media identify which are Irish releases. The idea is with a one stop shop they won't be getting music from 20 different sources which takes so much time and energy. They just go to one place, see all the new releases, and because it saves them time they'll be able to listen to much more."
