Really really need your help. In line with your Feel Good Fridays, I feel the following story is quite appropriate. My faith in humanity has being restored. I need your help in tracking down two good Samaritans.

My mam took a very bad fall in Waterford City on Thursday in Arundel Square dislocating her shoulder. Many came to her aid including a female traffic warden, girls from the Jewellery Shop and a gentleman who gave my Mam his coat to keep her dry. We want to say a huge thank you to all of these people for their kindness and compassion.

There are two people who we are desperate to get in contact with by the name of Brian and Lydia. We have their second names but their numbers which my brother took at the time did not save. They waited with my Mam in her hour of need, rang an ambulance and contacted my brother. Both went above and beyond to help my Mam. Brian even bought a foil blanket to wrap around my Mam. We would really like to thank both Brian and Lydia so we are desperate to contact them. So Brian and Lydia if you are listening please contact the station and they will pass on my number.

Thanks to everyone again who helped my Mam out. We are truly grateful and forever indebted to you all.

Sinead

If you know Brian or Lydia, get in touch with us here at the station and we can put you in touch.
