A woman has died in a suspected stabbing in Ballymun in Dublin.
It happened in the Sandyhill area at around 3:30pm this afternoon.
Gardaí were called to a house in the area and an investigation is under way.
Garrett McNamee is a reporter with The Journal, he says emergency services discovered the woman at the scene.

"They found the remains of a woman, who I believe, is in her 50's.
"The Gardaí are yet to confirm the age of the deceased.
"It is understood that this woman suffered a violent death and had been stabbed to death.
"Gardaí have not made any arrests at the moment but they are in the process of tracking down people who may have been with the deceased prior to her death."
