A woman who was seriously injured in an assault in Arklow at the weekend has died in hospital.
The woman, who was aged in her 30s, was injured in the early hours of Saturday morning at an apartment in the Wicklow town.
She was brought to St. Vincent's Hospital in Dublin where she died today.
A man in his 30s appeared in court in Bray yesterday charged in connection with the incident and has been remanded in custody.
