Waterford Institute of Technology will face questions from politicians next week about the sale of spin off research companies based in the college.
WIT is due to appear again before the Dail's Public Accounts Committee.
An internal review is already underway at the Institute into the monies that were paid upon the sale of these research companies.
Sinn Fein's David Cullinane says he wants the college to be ready to answer questions relating to governance and the oversight of intellectual property.
The Waterford TD also said it was 'interesting' that an internal review was being held at the same time that questions were being asked.
