Whiskey business may be heading the Waterford direction

A Waterford whiskey brand has made plans to build a distillery in the county.

Gortinore Distillers has purchased the Old Mill, Kilmacthomas site and hopes to employ 15 people.

The company that also operates in the US wants to fuse two cultures together in their products.
