A school for students with special needs in Co Wexford says they are in desperate need of a new facility.
St Patrick's School in Enniscorthy has taken to social media to highlight the fact that no progress has been made on a new site they have been waiting for since February 2016.
The special school is currently based on two sites, and they had been promised a new school over 18 months ago.
The Department of Education has been contacted for comment.
Lee Rodgers is Principle of the school.
He says time has slipped away for a school that is such a major operation:
"We're a whole county school, so we cater for students from all over Wexford.
"We've been promised a new school going back years, and things were progressing well until February 2016.
"Building work should have commenced on our new school at that time, but there's been delays and delays and time marches on."
After being contacted by Beat, a Department of Education and Skills spokesperson has said that the project is at an advanced stage of architectural planning which includes the applications for Planning Permission and the preparation of Tender Documents.
The submission has recently been reviewed and approved by the Department and is the final stage before the tender process starts.
Contractors can then be selected for this project.
