Wexford Rape Crisis Centre are being recognised for the work they do in county.
The service is among several entrants involved in the Charity Impact Awards.
Organised by 'The Wheel', the awards celebrate the work of charities, community groups and voluntary organisations that have changed Ireland for the better and voting is now open until the 3rd of November.
Speaking to Beat News, Clare Williams, Manager of the centre explains what services they offer:
"Wexford Rape Crisis is a county wide service that is available to any woman, any man or any young person from age 12 upwards who has been affected in any way by domestic, sexual or gender based violence. That can be anything such as child sexual abuse."
Clare explained more about how the competition works;
"Basically all you need is an email address and 30 seconds of your time, it doesn't cost anything, it's very quick and straightforward to do. We're calling on people in the south east really, all our neighbours to help us out to get to the next stage."
