Karen's in the South East have something to get excited about this Winter as they're getting a calendar of their very own.
Wexford design company Weird Watercolours have released their 'Karendar' which offers customers a cheeky chihuahua and snappy Karen complaint every month which can be clipped off at the end of the month and sent as a postcard.
Abigail Denison and her partner Audrey began the company Weird Watercolours during the lockdown to boost morale but it has spiralled into a business.
Speaking to Beat, Abigail explains more;
"The Karendar 2022 is a Calendar with a strongly worded Karen comment for each month of the year. We decided to go with pictures of chihuahua's because chihuahua's are too big for their boots as animals go. You can flip it over and there's a cut here mark on the back of every month to send off your Karen complaint in the post."
Abigail gave us a sample of some of the monthly moans;
"A strongly worded Karen comment for every month of the year. January would be 'Can I speak to your manager', February would be 'That's extremely rude!' and so the list goes on.
It's all made with recyclable materials and it's all designed and hand cut in our studio in Wexford using locally sourced materials."
