A leading weather expert has pinpointed one day this weekend which is set to see wet and windy conditions across the South East.
Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly has forecasted Sunday to be the worst day of the weekend as a low-pressure system makes its presence known.
While the exact course of the low-pressure system has yet to be pinned down, it is expected to track from the South West of Ireland and spread across the South East in the early afternoon.
People can expect heavy downpours with around 8.6 mm of rainfall forecast and strong gusts with winds of up to 50 kph.
Temperatures, meanwhile, will remain slightly above average at 13 degrees Celsius.

As of Thursday morning, no weather alerts have been issued by Met Éireann.
According to the national forecaster, Sunday will bring "heavy outbreaks of rain in the afternoon and evening.
"The rain will gradually clear northwards on Sunday night, though it may persist in some areas."
