Met Éireann is warning of extremely strong winds, localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather took to Twitter earlier today stating that over 50mm of rain could be expected tomorrow, an intensity which he says presents "a flooding risk".
Risk of some very heavy rain Wednesday with over 50mm in 24 hours and possibly over 25mm in 6 hours. This presents a flooding risk but the exact areas at risk are little unclear. In you live in an area prone to flooding in the South then stay aware. pic.twitter.com/jP6nODpX3P
