Meanwhile, the City Square Shopping Centre has been reopened following an earlier investigation.
That comes as reports emerged at around 11am of a 'suspicious object' in the facility's car park.
A car is reported to have been left with the engine running in the car park; there also are some reports that the windows may have been left down.
That area there has since been cleared and shops have been reopened.
The events come on what’s expected to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
