Phyllis McGovern from Butlerstown, Co. Waterford won the 2016 National Brown Bread Baking Competition at the National Ploughing Championships.
The event is sponsored by Aldi, and Phyllis' brown bread will be stocked in Aldi stores.
Phyllis will receive a share of the profits from the sales of her brown bread.
Speaking to Beat News before yesterday's final, Phyllis explained how her bread goes down at home, "I honestly don't know, it's a favourite with family and all the people that stay with me in the Bed & Breakfast.

They're all very happy with it - when I get the empty basket back after breakfast - I know it's a winner."
