A group of South East secondary school students are sending a gift to the Taoiseach tomorrow for Valentine's Day.
Transition Year students from "Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School" in Waterford are sending 600 signed hearts to Leo Varadkar.
The action is being taken in an effort to raise awareness for the current situation in the cardiac unit at University Hospital Waterford.
In a statement, they say that its "extremely important" to give South East citizens the "care they deserve".
