A Waterford native is to take part in the 44th World Skills competition.
A student of GMIT Letterfrack, Sean Hogan won the national title and now represents Ireland on the International stage
The competition is held every 2 years and competitors must demonstrate their technical abilities with their trade.
Over 1,200 competitors from 68 countries around the world are taking part.
