Waterford hotel evacuated following a fire

The Woodlands Hotel and Leisure Centre in Waterford has been evacuated after a fire broke out in the area.

4 units of the fire brigade are at the scene after a call was made shortly after 5:30.

It's understood to have started following an electrical fault which caused a small fire on the roof of the hotel bar.

Everyone in the hotel and leisure centre has been safely evacuated and emergency services remain at the scene.
