Injury rates among Gardai at work are 10 times higher than that of the average worker.
Figures in today's Irish Examiner state that 611 incidents that resulted in a Garda being injured were recorded in 2014.
Gardai in Waterford were recorded to have the highest rate, with just under 14 injuries per 100 Gardai.
The figures were released ahead of the Annual Conference of the AGSI, which takes place today.
