A driver has been caught by Gardaí in Co Waterford for speeding while driving under the influence.
While on patrol earlier today, Waterford Roads Policing stopped the motorist who was travelling at a speed of 142km per hour in a 100km speed zone in their Audi.
When stopped, Gardaí discovered the driver had drugs in their system when they took a roadside drugs test.
The motorist returned positive for cannabis and cocaine.
Gardaí also found the vehicle's road tax was out of date.
