Waterford City Fire Service has issued a warning today about inferior phone chargers which could be dangerous.
In a post on Facebook, the Fire Service said that inferior and cheap chargers and cables are the cause of many domestic fires and serious injuries.
The cables and chargers are often not CE-marked and many are not fused. Waterford City Fire Service warns that they can lead to serious injuries and damage when they short while being used.
