A County Waterford woman has died at a St. Stephen's Day event at Waterford Raceway in Dungarvan.
The woman, whose identity has yet to be released, was participating in a hot rod race when the car she was driving became involved in a collision.
The event was cancelled following the incident.
The oval raceway has hosted numerous meetings over the past three decades, with yesterday's St. Stephen's Day event being a highlight of the track's racing calendar.
