An 18 year old Waterford man killed in a car crash on Thursday evening has been named locally.
Eoghan Halford died instantly when his car crashed into a wall on the N72 at Ballygalane in Lismore.
Among those paying tribute to the teenager are Lismore GAA and Dungarvan Rugby clubs as well as Railway Athletic football club, who described being "numb at the loss of such a gentleman".
Mr Halford had recently received his Leaving Cert results and attended his debs.
