An unaccompanied learner driver in the South East has had their vehicle seized.
The Roads Policing Unit in Tipperary were carrying out a routine operation when they intercepted the driver.
Gardaí were alerted on the Mobility App that lead to the seizure in Nenagh.
The Active Mobility App allows Gardaí to check a vehicle's history, tax and NCT status.
It also allows Gardaí check the status of a driver's licence and insurance.
Upon inspection they found that the driver was driving on a provisional license with no insurance, tax or NCT.
Tipperary RPU intercepted this vehicle after a #MobilityApp alert in Nenagh.
The learner driver was unaccompanied and found with No Insurance, NCT or Tax.

The vehicle was subsequently seized as a result of the inspection.
The learner driver is also due to appear in court.
