One of the fastest growing superstore retailers in the UK is to open its doors in Carlow today, October 6th.
Boasting 16 departments, The Range at Four Lakes Retail Park specialises in DIY, gardening, homewares, arts & crafts, and soft furnishings.
The opening is the first by The Range in the South East, who operate over 145 stores across the UK and three in Ireland including outlets in Cork, Dublin & Limerick.
The new branch is expected to provide a significant jobs boost to the area with the creation of 80 full and part-time jobs.
Our very own Beat Fleet will be on hand this Friday to celebrate the store's grand opening - bringing their trademark beats, games and face painting.
To get everyone in the party feel, The Range will be giving away some very special prizes to the first 50 people to queue for the grand opening, including a star prize for the first in line.
Whatsmore, The Range will be giving one lucky winner the chance to win a €250 voucher to spend at the store.
Commenting on the opening of the new store, founder of The Range, Chris Dawson, said: "Each store plays an important part in the success of our company and Carlow is no exception. It is great to be able to continue our Irish expansion this year after opening our first store there last summer."
