Two van drivers in Waterford have been fined for driving well in excess of the speed limit in two separate incidents.
The drivers of a white Volkswagen Transporter and a red Volkswagen Caddy were stopped by Gardaí on the N25 Waterford by-pass.
The driver of the white Volkswagen Transporter was found to be driving 133km/h in a 100 km/h zone, while the driver of the red Caddy was clocked at 140 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
Both drivers were stopped and Fixed Charge Notices were issued.
Taking to the garda traffic Twitter feed, they tweeted: "Gardaí attached to Roads Policing were conducting speed checks on the N25, Waterford by-pass recently when these two vehicles were observed travelling in excess of the 100kph speed limit. Both drivers were stopped and Fixed Charge Notice was issued."

Meanwhile, in Tipperary, a motorist has been arrested after they were found to be driving whilst disqualified.
The red Renault Captur was also seized by gardaí.
