A Waterford hotel has scooped big at Ireland's Best Managed Companies Awards.
The Cliff House Hotel took home a Platinum Standard award, as the hotel was up against 139 other companies.
Tipperary company, Clancy Construction also grabbed a spot among the 12 platinum winners.
2021 saw the highest number of new applicants in the programme’s 13-year history, which is led by Deloitte Ireland and in association with Bank of Ireland.
25 new companies were among the Best Managed Companies, including Kilklenny's Modubuild.
Also among the 25 was Keltech in Waterford, who featured on the winning list, while the Cliff House Hotel achieved the Platinum Standard, winning it for the seventh year in a row.
17 companies achieved Gold Standard at this year’s awards including Codd Mushrooms Ltd. from Carlow.
Ireland’s Best Managed Companies Awards programme promotes and recognises excellence in Irish owned and managed companies which look at their management abilities and practices in addition to the strategy, capability, innovation, culture and financial performance.
