Two people have been arrested in Wexford in relation to drug trafficking offences.
As part of ongoing investigations targeting people suspected of involvement in organised crime operating in the Wexford area, a Joint Intelligence Led Operation was conducted today.
A premises in the Gorey area was searched and Cocaine and Cannabis worth 129 thousand euro was seized by Customs Officers.
Gardaí arrested a 45-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman in relation to drug trafficking offences.
They are currently being detained at Gorey and Wexford town Garda Stations.
Investigations are continuing.
GNDOCB & Wexford Divisional Drug Unit along with Revenue Customs Service have seized €129,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis following a search in Wexford today.
