Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a Wexford post office.
The outlet in Courtown was raided at about twenty past four yesterday afternoon by two men believed to be carrying a firearm.
Following a struggle with a female member of staff they removed a cash drawer and stole a small quantity of cash.
Gardaí arrested one man a short distance from the scene and a firearm was recovered, while a second man was arrested a short time later.
The men are currently detained under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act.
