Gardai in Carlow have confirmed to Beat News two males have been arrested in relation to the robbery of a post office in Leighlinbridge.
At around 10am, two males entered the premises and threatened staff.
They made away with a substantial amount of cash in a white mitsubishi in the direction of Baganelstown.
A number of units of the Gardai focused their attention on a particular area, and have arrested two men in connection with the incident.
