The world's richest man, Elon Musk, say he's terminating his 44 billion dollar bid to buy Twitter.

Tesla's chief executive claims there's been multiple breaches of the merger agreement and that the company failed to provide data and information that he'd requested. As a result, shares of the social-media platform fell 6 percent in extended trading.

Twitter's chairman says the social-media site will take legal action as the firm insists it’s committed to the terms agreed.
