Tributes are being paid to a young Kilkenny woman who lost her battle with cervical cancer over the weekend.
Friends of Alice Taylor had been campaigning for months for her to get access to the drug Pembro.
It was announced by the Health Minister last week that all women suffering from cervical cancer would get the drug, however it didn't come in time for Alice.
The 26-year-old passed away in St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin on Friday.
Among those paying tribute to Alice, is fellow Kilkenny-woman, and cervical campaigner Vicky Phelan.
Reading about Alice's death has floored me. I had met her and her Mum, Wendy at St. Vincent's Hospital where Alice moved for treatment to get on Pembro, which she had started. It was obviously too late for her. She was far too young to die #RIPAliceTaylor
