Tributes are being paid to the young man who died on the M7 near Naas at the weekend.
Brendan Fitzpatrick from Thomastown in County Kilkenny was killed after being struck by a vehicle travelling northbound on the motorway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thomastown Paddlers has described their club member Brendan as "an absolute gentleman who was taken far too early."

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the accident, including those with dash cam footage, to come forward.
