Tourists looking to smoke a joint in a cafe could soon have an option other than Amsterdam.
Brussels is looking to open cannabis coffee shops as part of efforts to ease drug laws there.
The mayor of the Belgian capital has told a Dutch newspaper he sees a joint like he sees a glass of whiskey...and that he doesn't know anyone who has never tried a joint.
The Brussels Mayor sustains that by taking cannabis out of the hands of criminal groups, the authorities can focus on the trafficking of hard drugs.
Brussels could soon host Amsterdam-style cannabis “coffee shops” as part of efforts to ease drug laws in the home of EU institutions and Nato https://t.co/LunOj905W0
