Today is officially the hottest day of the year.
Met Éireann says a temperature of 23 degrees has been recorded in Phoenix Park in Dublin.
It beats yesterday's record of 22.1 degrees which was set at Oak Park in Carlow.

Tomorrow's expected to be even hotter still, possibly reaching 24 degrees in parts of the south-east.
However, the weekend will see cooler temperatures and more unsettled weather.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says the South East will see the best of the conditions over the next two days.
"Temperatures possibly getting up to as high as 24 degrees tomorrow for a time on Friday.
"But really, apart from the South East, it will be much cooler in the north west, with temperatures struggling to get above 19 or 19 degrees."
