Humanitarian Adi Roche could soon be adding the Freedom of Cork City to her list of achivements.
It's reported the Tipperary native will be nominated for the award in the coming weeks by the Lord Mayor of Cork.
Last November Ms Roche was honoured with the prestigious World of Children Award for her campaigning work for the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
Previous recepients of the award include John F Kenneddy, Eamon de Valera and Mary Robinson.
