A motorist in Tipperary is awaiting proceedings after being caught driving a vehicle that was untaxed for 775 days.
The red 3-door Opel Astra was intercepted by gardaí whose mobility app flagged the irresponsible driver outside Cahir Castle.
Cahir Gardaí intercepted this car this morning. Using the #MobilityApp, it was found that the car had no insurance, no tax for 775 days and the diver was an unaccompanied Learner driver with no L-Plates.

The learner motorist was also found to be driving unaccompanied with no L-Plates displayed.
The vehicle was seized with court proceedings to follow.
Taking to Twitter, gardaí wrote: "Cahir Gardaí intercepted this car this morning. Using the #MobilityApp, it was found that the car had no insurance, no tax for 775 days and the diver was an unaccompanied Learner driver with no L-Plates. The car was seized. Proceedings to follow. #SaferRoads"
