A special farewell gift is on the way to Barack Obama before he departs the White House.
The Corrigan Brothers are presenting the lyrics of their YouTube hit "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama."
The Tipperary natives, now based in Limerick, wrote the track almost 16 years ago.
Originally it took two months to achieve 25 views but by the time Mr. Obama's inauguration came around it had 10 million hits.
Ger Corrigan from the band spoke to Beat News about the plan, "the lyrics are going to be dispatched to the American embassy on Thursday, the 19th.
They are going to be sent then directly to Barack Obama on the last day of his presidency."
