A Dublin solicitor, who has become known for his advice given on TikTok, says basic employment law should be taught to Transition Year students.
Richard Grogan has amassed over 100,000 TikTok followers just by giving out simple and snappy tips for workers and their employees.
It's called into question whether information surrounding workers rights and contracts should be taught to teenagers, before they enter the workplace.
Speaking to Beat News, Richard is endorsing the good idea:
"People should know their basic rights like what are the notice periods, what are the working times, what are the break times; all of these are ones that would be very helpful to young individuals.
There's a lot of questions that come in from people going off and doing apprenticeships and the rest, these are things they have questions on, so I would love to see that being done."
