There was a record number of top prize Irish winners in the EuroMillions draw this weekend.

Friday’s draw saw one lucky player in Cork become a millionaire while four other Irish players took home €500,000 each.

Three of these half million winning tickets were sold in outlets in the South East.

The winning tickets were sold in:


  • Walsh’s Daybreak Store, Cork Road, Waterford
  • Bergin’s Foodfair in Clonmel, Tipperary
  • Michael O’Brien’s Spar Shop, Borrisokane, Tipperary
  • John O’Sullivan’s Spar Store, Newbridge, Kildare
