Gardaí have arrested two males from Kilkenny and Waterford following an attempted robbery on High Street, Kilkenny last week.
Reports suggest that two individuals followed a woman back to her vehicle after she had withdrawn a sum of cash from an ATM.
The pair, aged 25 and 26, then made a failed attempt to take money from the woman.
Both suspects have been arrested and are expected to appear before Kilkenny District Court tomorrow.
