The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association attended a call out in Waterford yesterday evening.
A solo walker had a leg injury on the Knockmealdowns.
As light was fading, Rescue 117 were tasked by SEMRA to assist in the rescue operation.
The casualty was winched off the mountain at 9:15pm and all members were safely off the hill by 9:50pm.
