The HSE is warning of a mumps outbreak among young people across the country.
133 cases of the viral infection were reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre last week.
It says the outbreak started in 2018 and has continued to spread.
15 to 24 year olds are contracting mumps the most with more men being affected than women.
