The boss of Permanent TSB says 'there will be difficult times ahead', with soaring energy bills dragging up the cost of living.
Eamonn Crowley has appealed to customers who are struggling to meet their mortgage repayments to contact the bank.
He insists his team, intitally brought in during Covid 19, is still in place and is waiting to help out.
However Mr Crowley has this advice for customers, "There will be some difficult situations there's no doubt about it and how families support each other in that respect because its time like this you seek support within your own family or indeed with government supports as well. But the bank, as an initial contact, will be ready and willing to discuss those challenges with customers."
