There are temporary road closures to facilitate the Waterford Harvest Festival.
It takes place from Friday, September 8th to Sunday, September 10th.
There are dozens of events taking place throughout the City Centre and the areas of the Mall, Cathedral Square, Palace Square, The Applemarket and Ballybricken.
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS – Waterford Harvest Festival Friday September 8th to Sunday September 10th:
From 8pm Thursday 7th September until 6am Monday 11th September the following streets will be closed:
• The Mall – R680
• Mall Lane – L90023
• Bank Lane – L90024
• Beau Street – L90307 – Local Access will be maintained
• Greyfriars – L90020 – Access to car park will be maintained
• Baileys New Street – L90021
• Henrietta Street – L90018 – Local Access will be maintained
• High Street – L5533 (from its junction with Olaf Street to Henrietta Street)
From 10am Saturday 9th September until 8pm Sunday 10th September the following streets will be closed: • Little Patrick Street – L90355 (Car park not affected) • Barronstrand Street – L91091 (from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity to its junction with Blackfriars Lane)
From 12am Friday 8th September until 8pm Sunday 10th September there will be parking restrictions on:
• Ballybricken Green – L1504
• Catherine Street – R708
• Parnell Street – R680
• Park Road – L90206
• Water Street – L90309
• Bolton Street – L90201 (Car park not affected)
Access to the Quays and Rice Bridge will be via Bridge Street or Lombard Street with all detours signed.
There will be no access to the Quays via The Mall or Arundel Square once the road closure is in place.
