More hot weather's on the cards, with a status yellow high temperature warning in place.
The hottest temperature in the country was in the Phoenix Park in Dublin yesterday at 29.3 degrees.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather has the outlook: 'A very hot day today, the hottest in this hot spell. Temperatures will get close to record breaking temperatures with potentially 33 degrees in the east of the country.

But it will widely get up to 30 degrees in many parts in the country just that little bit cooler near the coast.'
