Teenage boy dies after falling ill in school gym in Kildare

A teenage boy has died after becoming unwell at a secondary school in Co. Kildare.

The 15-year-old fell ill in the school's gym in Clane yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to Crumlin Children’s Hospital where he later died.

Gardaí are investigating the teenager's sudden death, with a postmortem to determine the course of their investigation.
