David Cullinane says it's been confirmed to him that there's a Covid-19 outbreak at a company in Waterford.
It's understood 28 cases are currently linked to the alleged cluster on the HSEs systems right now.
Health officials are said to be concerned about the increasing number of cases in the Deise, with 9 new infections confirmed yesterday.
The Sinn Fein Deputy, and health spokesperson, says the situation is very worrying:
It was confirmed to me this evening that Waterford has one large workplace outbreak, 28 cases currently linked to it on the system right now, 7 of them added in the past 24 hours. Very worrying. I very much hope that robust testing & tracing is being carried out. @sinnfeinireland
