A number of Dublin-based students will be relying on the kindness of strangers to get from the capital to Berlin over the next few days.
It's part of an event known as Beg, Borrow, Steal, organised by the Enterprise Society at DCU.
It sees 100 teams of two looking to strangers to loan them money for taxi's, plane tickets or people who just fancy giving the teams a list to destinations
Organiser and Carlow native Dylan Kehoe told Beat News it's not as simple as going from Dublin straight to Berlin however:
'The teams are going to be given 6 optional checkpoints and they will have to reach two of those over the next two days.
'We haven't announced them yet, but they could be anywhere in Europe, any cities that they'd have to get to.'
'They check in, send the photo's to us and we'll give them the next checkpoint that they'll have to go to.'
He told a couple of the more amusing tales from last years event from Dublin to Edinburgh:
'I know Bill Bailey got involved last year - a couple of guys bumped into him at Heathrow Airport and he helped them out.'
'One guy gave a team his Porsche from one check-point to another. He wasn't driving because he was drinking, but he joined them and sat in the back'
'A few people even missed the flight back from Edinburgh and even managed to beg, borrow, steal their way back!
