Students were evacuated from Carlow Institute of Further Education this morning.
The alarm was raised at around 10am and it had been reported that Tyndall College was also affected, but management has confirmed to Beat news that their building is fully operational.
Beat news understands there was reports of a gas leak in the Institute of Further Education building, but that has yet to be confirmed.
We have contacted the school for comment.
