Following this morning's heavy downpours and strong gusts, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the forecast storm had passed.
Unfortunately, Storm Diana is still on track to hit Irish coasts on Wednesday.
Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly took to social media last night to comment on the oncoming weather system.

"This system is going to track northeastwards towards Ireland, merge with another low-pressure system and attack us on Wednesday", he noted.
While Met Eireann doesn't expect anything too severe, they are monitoring the situation very closely with a possible orange weather warning to be announced at some point today.

Meanwhile, the UK Met Office has a yellow wind warning for Wales and South West England, along with a yellow rain and wind warning for Scotland from Wednesday through to Thursday.
