Stephens Barracks in Kilkenny are hosting an Open day and everyone in the South East is invited
Lt. Patrick Tobin says it's a great opportunity for people to see behind the scenes
"What we're hoping to achieve with the Open Day, it's behind four walls.

Naturally it's fortified for security reasons and people see us travelling around in vehicles coming and going from the Barracks but there can be that separation between ourselves and the community around.
People can come in and look around the barracks and appreciate how big it is, how many capabilities that we have and they can interact with any personnel here and ask any questions"
